Ambiguous Standards Institute (ASI) is a conceptual platform co-founded by Avşar Gürpınar and Cansu Curgen, aiming to explore the idea of standards and norms in creative, design, and cultural contexts. It challenges the fixed notions of “standards” by playing with ambiguity, encouraging designers, artists, and thinkers to engage with uncertainty, flexibility, and open interpretation in their work. The institute invites a critical examination of the conventions that shape our world, often in humorous or thought-provoking ways, allowing room for diverse perspectives and alternative futures.
